As a
ROTARIAN
since 1978, many projects have risen to the top of the list
as priority needs. However, not many projects have brought as many smiles to the
faces and as much fun to a child as having a new bicycle. While special gifts
are usually provided to the needy during holiday seasons, across the country and
around the world - we decided to give bicycles to middle-school children at the
end of May each year, so children would have a means of getting about, with
their friends, over the summer break. |
Each
year we harvest and cut to length, split and stack
Cord Wood
for Elderly people
who are in need of heating assistance. We provide an average of 10 cords of hard
wood, apple, cherry, ash, or white birch each heating season. Our work is
ongoing all year so as to make the wood ready - dry and most efficient for the
recipients.

With
heating costs escalating, as they do each year, we have experienced a steady
rise in the numbers of those who genuinely need assistance. Cord Wood
delivered is about $250 per cord. We give it to those in need, absolutely free.
Your donation defrays the cost of fuel, saw blades, equipment, labor and
delivery costs.. Won't you please, help to provide heat to one needy Elderly
this year. Please donate your $75.00 tax deductible gift today. We'll get
the wood ready for your recipient now. |
